NEW LOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Starting Monday February 1st 2010

After 11 creative years at CCPE, Art for the Heart workshops will be

re-locating to the London Art Therapy Centre.

From Monday February 1st 2010 Art for the Heart workshops will take place in the art studio at the London Art Therapy Centre.

This welcome change will offer additional facilities for group members in a proper studio environment.

New Art 4 The Heart Workshop Details

An art for the heart workshop enables you to get in touch with your creativity and to learn to express your feelings through the making of images. Each week you will meet to have some fun with paints, and to develop your own unique way of painting.

This image is a wave. Many images ressemble forces of nature as metaphors for the internal world. Just as the moon is capable of creating waves in the ocean, so our internal fluids (the body being 70% water) can also be calibrated to create feelings of waves. It is something we all experience - not just the ebb and flow of life, but those tumultous moments when everything is on the crest of a wave and threatens to be sucked under.
